A Photo from The Tucson Botanical Garden in January

Taken today. The red bunches are some kind of berry.

Are your temperatures higher than normal, ours are in the UK. Forecasts are that we are on course for the warmest year ever. Good to get some natural colour at this time of year, but it looks as if it could be the norm in the future.

Hi guys - I thought it might be nice for the folks who are currently in the dead of winter. Davem, actually I think its been a litte colder and wetter than usual. If the planet as a whole gets warmer, there will places where people just won't able to live in the future. Some people say places like Tucson are only artificially inhabitable anyway, using up scare resources, especially water. If there was a global consensus to treat this planet like a home we love and respect instead of the present climate of use it all now greed, I'd be more than willing let Tucson be returned to the desert.
