Trash Day in Barrio Historico

Trash pickup is rather efficient in Tucson, once a week, the city provides these large containers. I like this note of goofy individual expression is an otherwise dull process. The blue container is for recycling.

Yesterday was a long tramatic, complicated day which resulted in the end in a tired, mentally exhausted me just going to bed without putting up a photo.

I have seen this in a few cities where people decorate THEIR bin to differentiate it from all the others.

I guess we all have those days, Louz. I hope that your Thanksgiving was filled with good wishes and lots of love with family and friends.

WOW! That's one helluva lot of capacity for just one week's rubbish!

Dave, actually I've seen very few of these trash containers that were decorated, probably because they belong to the city.

Sally, interesting point. I think most people don't fill the thing every week, though we are a society that creates too much trash. In the interest of sales things are made to be used a little while and thrown away or they're made so they are't durable. Even in grocery stores there's a lot of throw away packaging that comes with most items you buy. On the other hand I've seen fairly large items stuffed into those containers, so it can be handy sometimes.

Thanks for the kind thought Kate. Sometimes life just gets complicated. It was weird difficult day.

Thanks Kate. Life just
