Who's Out There??

"I was working in the lab late one night
When my eyes beheld an eerie sight
For my monster from his slab began to rise
And suddenly to my surprise

He did the mash
He did the monster mash
The monster mash
It was a graveyard smash
He did the mash
It caught on in a flash
He did the mash
He did the monster mash

From my laboratory in the castle east
To the master bedroom where the vampires feast
The ghouls all came from their humble abodes
To get a jolt from my electrodes

They did the mash
They did the monster mash
The monster mash
It was a graveyard smash
They did the mash
It caught on in a flash
They did the mash
They did the monster mash"

From the 1962 pop song "Monster Mash" by Bobby "Boris" Pickett. See here for the rest of the song and here for the official website which is kind of fun.

Your photo impressed me then your explanation made me laugh. I really thought you were working the lab late one night. I then expected an explanation about your photo on your way home ... Good one.

The explanantion of the photo - I was taking photos of the full moon one night standing in my driveway. When I looked at the photos later, some of them had the image on the lower left hand, which happens to be the roof of my car.

Funny thing, I walked into a thrift store yesterday, after sending out the post, and they actually were playing The Monster Mash :-)

The longer you look at this photo, the brighter it gets. It looks as if it's changing colors, or the cloud is swirling. (And no, I haven't taken anything!)
