This is a superb series of shots, Louz. The colours are crisp and the movement is wonderful. There again, the series works well, getting rid of any of those pictures would have been so hard. I'm glad you kept them all, they complement each other perfectly.

I really enjoyed the performance, the drum music, the whole thing, so maybe it shows a little in the photos. Thanks for enjoying the photos!

Chris - I think yes and no. Traditional African think with some professional dance adaptation.

Of course the truth is the ratio of photos I actually put up on this blog to photos actually taken is something like 1:6 or on bad day 1:20. I had an awful lot of photos of these dancers that had them facing the wrong way, heads cut off, the expressions on their faces just didn't show the actual enthusiasm and energy of the performance, just plain out of focus, extraneous objects in the field of view, etc. I'm still learning and shutter lag is a continual frustration.
