I am rarely up and about this time of day. But there I was, looking for adventure, not sure where I wanted to go or which direction. Finally I just drove towards the sun.

Shooting into the sunlight is always fraught with difficulties, you've pulled this one off Louz, a nice sunrise.

Wow, that's beautiful! On the way home today, I was behind a truck with Arizona plates - they pulled on to I-40 and I thought about how I wished I was going back with them. I've always loved Arizona and can't wait to go back. :)

Superb job. I appreciate all the more because I am so very rarely up around dawn!

Good photo and you have my admiration for getting up early. I rarely do this either however when I do the light is normally great for photos.

I pretty much had to stay up all night to do it. Went to bed around 2am, slept badly, woke up before dawn and thought why not just get up, best time of day for photos. It was also a day off from work.

Thanks for the comments guys! It was an experiment as far as taking a photo right into the sun. And I was trying to get to a place with a good view for the sunrise and the sun was coming up and I just had to take the photos then. The window of opportunity is pretty brief.
