What Is It?

OK, I changed the picture. Well its the same photo but with a Photoshop filter on it. A postcard from Tucson, AZ, to whoever gets it (with a nod to Mark for the postcard idea).

Some part of a mill wheel or a part of a boat.

Hi Louz!

First off, I checked "Wiki" and it said that the UK is second in the world with "ten-pin" bowling...Americans have the market share so I guess it's almost an American phenomenon! ;-)

And you have some BEAUTIFUL shots the past few days...and I love the latest one! At first glance, after looking at "Neorelix's" site, I was thinking it was some kind of amusement park know, the wheel where you stand up, hold the handles on each side of you and experience what it must feel like to be inside the spin cycle of your washing machine? LOL!

But in looking at the tips of the "vertical elements" (how technical huh? Using my nuclear engineering degree here!) and how they're curved, I'll have to guess...

A windmill??

Just humor's Sunday and I'm gonna play...after spending 10 hours organizing my garage yesterday I think I deserve it!

I have to agree with Ame. It's a windmill. I grew up with one in my backyard.

I scrolled quickly down & up again over the past few pics and I see an impressionistic cross of 'Bats!' and Lightning', with an overall sense of Startrek. Beam me up, I may be going crazy!!

Well, I'd love to be a winner but I have no idea what this is. It's nice to look at though.

Oh, and I like the lightning strike picture A WHOLE LOT. And the tiles along the roof line, I wonder if I could do something like that on my adobe?

It looks like a ferris wheel at a carnival.

Nowhere Man - Its an interesting thought but I'm more likely to go to Lord of the Rings references, than StarTreck.
