Mountain High

There is a long tradition here of traveling up into the mountains during the summer. Its just a wondrous thing for the spirit to be able to go somewhere cool and green and lovely, to be amongst the lights and shadows of a forest. The canyon where this was taken is near the only town on Mt. Lemmon, appropriately named Summer Haven.

We have 40 degrees celsius here (I don't know how much is in f°, but it's HOT! ;-)) and I just wish I was there in the forest!

Hi all! Its good to have you drop by. If I truely had a choice, I'd live up in the mountains and visit the desert. However economic necessity and other factors keep me down here. Pier, 40 C is really hot! And its really hot here, except in the mountains.
