Vista del Monte Neighborhood

A lot of neighborhoods in Tucson identify themselves with some sort of sign and some neighborhoods do a display, usually in mosaics and metalwork. This is part of the display for Vista del Monte Neighborhood. It's the work of a number of people, both adults and kids. The bird above is a representation of a roadrunner and the lizard below may be a Gila monster. If its not a Gila monster, the link's interesting anyway.

Hi, Louz. Thank you for visiting my blog.

I've never seen such a creative neighborhood sign before. I hope you'll show us some more of them.

I enjoyed your blog. You have a gift for combining text and photo in a way that enhances both. Re the neighborhood sign, I think it was a labor of love.
