Sorry, didn't realize there was a theme today. So for that, this photo of an oleander from Agua Caliente park, after the inspiration of Akita's and Hyde's lovely photos. Oleanders are common in Tucson but "native to a broad area from Morocco and Portugal eastward through the Mediterranean region and southern Asia to Yunnan in southern China" according to Wikipedia.

So much for moderating. I don't know if your comments got wiped out Marieta, Sam, Dutchie but thanks! To answer Sam, no they don't have a lovely scent. They look like they ought to smell like gardenias, don't they? To Denton, they're introduced in Arizona (and Southern California too that I know of) - they just do well in this kind of climate.
