OK this is the first post of this blog. Not sure what this is going to look like - working my way up the learning curve.

Anyway, Tucson is in a desert climate so we lack the the more generous spring of greener places. The picture is of Palo Verde trees (green bark) which are pretty characteristic of a Tucson spring.

Sorry I didn't respond earlier. I really appreciate the feedback. Oddly enough after a while I found myself more interested in photographing the shapes of the tree trunks than in the flowers.
